Story of Choose
In the nostalgic year of 2004, my brother and I shared an unbreakable bond forged through the simple act of drawing and studying together. With nothing but stools and pillows at our disposal, we would eagerly assemble cosy workspaces. As time marched on and we grew older, our lives evolved, but our chair failed to evolve alongside us.

Market Demographics
Population of the world in 2024 is estimated to be 8.1 billion people. Out of which 2 billion children in the world are ages zero to 14 years old.

Problem Statement
How might we design a kid’s chair that shifts the perspective of a chair to a playful tool to create a mechanical learning experience as well as to use the product in their growing age by transitional foot levels.

Proof of Concept
The most crucial step in the design process is user interaction.
I created a full-scale prototype of the chair’s lower portion to conduct 1:1 testing, gather feedback, and refine its stability and mechanism for smoother functionality.

CAD Modelling
Collaborated with professor Dosun Shin to make software-driven design decisions to match design language, ensuring manufacturability and child safety.
